Who we are
Established in 1984, the Kent Association of Riding Therapy, Inc. (KART) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering social and developmental growth for children and adults with disabilities. As a cornerstone of community support for over four decades, KART empowers individuals through a specialized, multi-faceted curriculum of therapeutic horsemanship and equine-assisted activities. By leveraging the unique power of the human-equine bond, we provide our participants with the essential tools to achieve physical strength, cognitive advancement, and lasting emotional resilience.
